The 2025 Noyce Summit, themed “Impacting STEM Students in Rural, Urban, and Indigenous Schools: Strategies for Teacher Success,” took place July 14–16 at the Grand Hyatt in Washington, D.C. This national event convened educators, researchers, and program leaders from across the country to share innovative approaches to STEM teacher preparation in diverse educational settings. The summit featured lightning talks, workshops, poster presentations, and interactive Skills Labs designed to support teacher success in high-need schools.

98’s Robert Noyce Scholars Program was represented by Co-Principal Investigator Christina Steel and undergraduate scholarship recipient Janya Ware. Together, they participated in sessions focused on equity, engagement, and effective teaching strategies, while connecting with fellow Noyce scholars and project leaders from across the nation.
