Officials from 98ÌÃ and Chartway Credit Union held a ribbon-cutting ceremony outside the Ted Constant Convocation Center on Thursday to mark a 10-year marketing and branding agreement.

As part of the $4.25 million accord, the interior of the 8,400-seat arena in Constant Center is now named Chartway Arena. Chartway will also become the official credit union of 98ÌÃ Athletics.

Nearly three dozen individuals representing the institutions attended the event. 98ÌÃ President John R. Broderick, Chartway Chairman George Sauer and Chartway Federal Credit Union President/CEO Brian Schools, along with 98ÌÃ basketball coaches Jeff Jones and Nikki McCray, were among those who participated in the ceremony. Matt Drexler, director of events for Chartway Arena, conducted a tour of the arena.
