Starting Monday, September 15th, 2025, 43rd Street will be closed to westbound traffic from Elkhorn Avenue to Powhatan Avenue for utility and road work. The closure is expected to end Friday, September 19th, 2025.
A detour using Elkhorn Avenue will be in place for westbound traffic.
Access to both the 43rd & Elkhorn Garage and the 43rd & Bluestone Garage will not be affected during this closure.
The Monarch Transit Blue Route shuttle stop across from Elkhorn Garage will be inactive during this time; users of this stop are encouraged to use the Bluestone Avenue Blue Route shuttle stop.
