The Human Performance Lab at 98ÌÃ is completing a study on how the order of foods consumed within a meal affects blood glucose and fuel use at rest. The study involves one visit to the Human Performance Lab, where participants will eat a standardized vegetarian meal (edamame, butter, and rice) and then rest afterwards while measurements are taken. Each participant will also complete an InBody body composition test ($50 value). Participation time is expected to be 2-2.5 hours. To be eligible, participants must meet the following criteria:

â—       18-70 years old

â—       Free from any allergy or condition that would preclude consumption of edamame, butter, and rice

â—       Not currently pregnant

â—       Free of any medical conditions requiring the use of insulin

â—       Have no history of bariatric surgery

â—       Have no implanted electrical devices such as a pacemaker
