
The Department of Women's and Gender Studies is proud to offer a free birth doula training for undergraduate students interested in supporting pregnant people through community doula work. A birth doula helps inform, educate, and empower birthing people and their families before, during, and after pregnancy. The training will be led by Stephanie Spencer, BSN, RN, LCCE, CLC, the founder and executive director of Urban Baby Beginnings. This training is supported through a grant from the Mellon Foundation.
