🍂 ELC Connect – Fall 2025 - Seeking English-speaking Volunteers!
Hello friends,
We’re currently seeking English-speaking volunteers for ELC Connect to help facilitate small group conversations. This semester, we’ll explore different cultural themes each month, while practicing English together in a fun and relaxed setting. Last week, we had English learners zooming in from four different continents, and we learned a lot from each other!!
📅 When: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Thursdays, September through November
🕛 Time: 12:30–1:30 pm (via Zoom) (Note: This is a slight time change from previous announcement - we are making this change to align with 98 Activity Hour)

You can join every week or just drop in!
This fall, our themes will include:

September – Cultural Traditions & Stories

October – Indigenous History and Contemporary Voices

November – Traditions of Thankfulness and Togetherness Around the World
Additionally, we’re adding a special Dungeons & Dragons–themed ELC Connect on the last Friday of each month from 1:00–3:00 pm. This fall, we’ll focus on building characters and learning roleplay basics. In the spring, we’ll dive into collaborative storytelling and game play! See attached flyer for details.
