Dr. Arif Akgul received his Doctor of Philosophy in Political Science and a Master of Arts in Criminal Justice from Washington State University, a Master of Arts in Public Administration from Ankara University (Turkey), and a Bachelor of Arts in Security Science from the College of Security Sciences (Turkey). He was previously the Chief Research Officer for Academic Affairs at Indiana State University.

Dr. Raid Al-Aomar received his Doctor of Philosophy in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research as well as a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and Manufacturing Systems from Wayne State University. He also received a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from The University of Jordan. He was previously a Visiting Professor of Industrial Engineering at Quinnipiac University.

Dr. Al-Haik received his Ph.D. and an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Florida State University, as well as a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Jordan. Previously, he was a Professor and Chair of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Kennesaw State University.

Dr. Allen received a Ph.D. and an M.S. in Computer Science from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, an M.E. in Computer Engineering from 98ÌÃ, an M.B.A. from The University of Manchester (United Kingdom), and a B.S. in Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University. Previously, She was a Senior Leader for the Autonomous Systems Capability Leadership Team at NASA.

Ms. Kathryn Amtower received a Master of Library and Information Science with a concentration in Archival Studies and Imaging Technology from the University of North Texas and a Bachelor of Science in History from Gettysburg College. Previously, she was the Academic Department Coordinator for the East Asian Studies Department at Dickinson College.

Mr. Agyare Asante received a Master of Science in Environmental Science and Engineering from Suzhou University of Science and Technology (China) and a Bachelor of Science in Geological Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (Ghana). He is expected to receive his Doctor of Philosophy in Civil and Environmental Engineering from 98ÌÃ in 2026. Dr. Adam Atwell received his Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte, a Master of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Cincinnati, and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Western Carolina University. He was previously a Senior Research Analyst at Jobs for the Future.

Dr. Ian Azarov received his Doctor of Philosophy in Biological Sciences and Physiology from Russia. He is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Biomedical Technology at Czech Technical University(Czech Republic), a Professor in the Department of Biochemistry and Physiology at the Medical Institute of Pitirim Sorokin Syktyvkar State University (Russia), and a Chief Researcher in the Department of Cardiac Physiology at the Institute of Physiology of Komi Science Center of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

Dr. Barnett received a Ph.D. in American History from The University of Georgia, an M.A. in American History from The University of Southern Mississippi, and a B.A. in History from Millersville University of Pennsylvania. She was previously an Assistant Teaching Professor of History at Loyola University Maryland.

Dr. Lauren Bowers received her Doctor of Philosophy in Education with a concentration in Curriculum and Instruction from 98ÌÃ, a Master of Arts in Management and Leadership from Liberty University, a Master of Science in Elementary Education, and a Bachelor of Science in Teacher Education from 98ÌÃ. Currently, she is the MonarchTeach Program Coordinator and Adjunct Professor at 98ÌÃ.

Dr. Brooks received an Ed.D. in Kinesiology from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro, an M.Ed. in Clinical Exercise Physiology and Sport Management from The University of Georgia, and a B.A. in Exercise and Sport Science from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Previoiusly, she was an Associate Professor and the Graduate Program Director in Kinesiology at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

Dr. Chaoui received a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, a D.E.S.S. in Project Management, an M.S. in Computer Science, and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Quebec (Canada), as well as a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Institut Supérieur du Génie Appliqué (Morocco). Previously, he was an Associate Professor in the Department of Electronics at Carleton University (Canada).

Ms. Yener Cagla Cimendereli received a Master of Arts in Philosophy, a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Relations, and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Bogazici University (Turkey). Dr. GhasemiGol received a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering and an M.Sc. in Computer Engineering from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad (Iran), as well as a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering from Payame Noor University (Iran).

Dr. Arash Ghorbannia is a Research Assistant Professor of Medical Modeling and Simulation at the Macon and Joan Brock Virginia Health Sciences (VHS) and the Virginia Modeling, Analysis, and Simulation Center (VMASC) at 98ÌÃ. His multidisciplinary training spans Mechanical Engineering (B.Sc., K.N. Toosi University of Technology, 2012), Aerospace Engineering (M.Sc., Sharif University of Technology, 2015), and Biomedical Engineering (Ph.D., Medical College of Wisconsin & Marquette University, 2022) followed by postdoctoral fellowships at Herma Heart Institute, Children’s Wisconsin (2023) and Duke University (2025).

Mr. Giltz received an M.S. in Contemporary Human Anatomy from Eastern Virginia Medical School and a B.S. in Health Sciences from James Madison University. He was previously an Instructor of Biology at ECPI University.

Dr. Hyun Dong Kim received his Doctor of Philosophy in Civil Engineering from Osaka University (Japan), a Master of Civil Engineering in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Delaware, and a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Dr. Keuntae Kim received her Doctor of Philosophy in Metropolitan Planning, Policy, and Design from The University of Utah, a Master of City and Regional Planning from Georgia Institute of Technology, a Master of Urban Planning from Seoul National University (South Korea), and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Ajou University (South Korea). Prior to joining 98ÌÃ, he was the Program Managing Associate of The SCENE and an Adjunct Professor of Engineering at Norfolk State University.

Dr. Giseung Lee received his Doctor of Philosophy in Composition and Applied Linguistics from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, a Master of Arts in Japanese Pedagogy from Portland State University, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (Canada). Prior to joining 98ÌÃ, he was a Lecturer for Korean Studies at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Dr. Ramlatchan holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from 98ÌÃ, an M.B.A. in Strategic Management from Averett University, and a B.S. in Biological Sciences from 98ÌÃ. He is currently the Division Chief of the AI Integration Lab at the U.S. Department of Defense.

Dr. Sina Razzaghi Asl received his Doctor of Philosophy in Geography and Urban Studies from Temple University, a Doctor of Philosophy in Architecture, Landscape and Urban Design, a Master of Arts in Urban Planning and Design, and a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering from the Iran University of Science and Technology. He was previously a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Center for Policy Research on Energy and the Environment at Princeton University.

Dr. Reifsnider received a Ph.D. in Community Health and Parent-Child Nursing from the University of Texas, an M.S. in Maternity Nursing and Education from the University of Oklahoma, and a B.S.N. from Avila College. Dr. Sarrafzadeh received a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Wollongong (Australia), an M.Sc. in Computer Engineering from Middle East Technical University (Turkey), and a B.S. in Computer Science from Oklahoma State University. Previously, he was recognized as a University Distinguished Professor and the Director of the Center of Excellence in Cybersecurity Research, Education, and Outreach at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University.

Dr. Scarneo-Miller received a Ph.D. and an M.S. in Exercise Science from The University of Connecticut, as well as a B.S. in Kinesiology and Athletic Training from the University of New Hampshire. She was previously an Assistant Professor in the Division of Athletic Training and the Program Director for the Athletic Training Program at West Virginia University.

Dr. Bridgette Schram received her Doctor of Philosophy in Public Health from Georgia State University, a Master of Science in Kinesiology from Oregon State University and a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from the University of Nebraska Omaha. She was previously the Project Manager for the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab Center for Rehabilitation Outcomes and Research.

Ms. Williams received an M.F.A. in Poetry from Cornell University and a B.S. in Psychology from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. She was previously a Graduate Instructor of Record in the English Department at The University of Florida.

Dr. Charmaine Willis received her Doctor of Philosophy and a Master of Arts in Political Science from the State University of New York at Albany, a Master of Arts in International Affairs from American University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Southern Maine. She is currently a Visiting Assistant Professor of Political Science at Skidmore College.

Dr. Wei Zhou received his Doctor of Philosophy in Finance from the University of Maryland, a Doctor of Philosophy in Mathematics from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Science and Technology of China. He is currently a Visiting Assistant Professor of Finance at Tulane University.

Dr. Zhu received a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the City University of Hong Kong, an M.Eng. in Computer Science from the Chinese Academy of Sciences (China), and a B.Eng. in Computer Science from Guangxi University (China). Previously, he was an Assistant Professor and Interim Associate Head in the Department of Computer Science at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
